Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Video Editing Intern to join our team. As a Video Editing Intern at Dare2Gear, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production and editing while contributing to exciting projects that showcase the beauty and excitement of travel.
Responsibilities:
Passion/Interest in video production, editing, and color grading
Proficiency in motion graphics and graphics
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other video editing software
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Film, Video Editing. Communication, or related field is preferred
Assist the video editing team in organizing and managing video files and assets.
Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
Edit raw footage into polished and professional videos.
Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the videos.
Assist in creating video content optimized for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
Take direction and feedback from supervisors to refine and improve editing skills.
Learn about the travel industry and contribute ideas for video content that resonates with our target audience.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of video editing software and techniques is required.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
