Job description, work day and responsibilities
• 1. Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles, including electrical, mechanical, and engine issues.
• 2. Conduct routine maintenance and servicing tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• 3. Perform complex repairs, including engine overhauls and transmission replacements.
• 4. Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles.
• 5. Interpret technical manuals and diagrams to understand vehicle systems.
• 6. Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and explain repairs.
• 7. Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• 8. Meet productivity and efficiency targets.
• 9. Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to share knowledge and best practices.
• 10. Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments.
