Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MS Excel Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing complex Excel spreadsheets to support business operations and decision-making processes. This role requires advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables to analyze data and generate insights.
• Create and manage dashboards and reports to support various business functions.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to understand their data needs and provide customized solutions.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
• Generate ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis as requested by management.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices for data management.
• Train and support team members in using Excel effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Excel Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and other advanced functions.
• Experience with Excel macros and VBA for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of database management and data warehousing.
• Previous experience in same industry or sector.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Access, Word, PowerPoint).
