Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Strategy:
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our overall marketing goals and target audience.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the social media landscape.
• Create and maintain editorial calendars and content guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Content Creation and Curation:
• Create engaging and relevant social media content, including posts, images, videos, and stories.
• Curate content from other sources to share with our audience.
• Optimize content for discoverability and engagement on different platforms.
• Community Management:
• Foster a positive and engaged online community through our social media channels.
• Respond to comments, questions, and messages from our audience in a timely and helpful manner.
• Encourage user-generated content and participation in our community.
• Social Media Advertising:
• Develop and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach our target audience and drive conversions.
• Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Track and measure key social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and conversion rates.
• Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage a team of social media specialists or content creators.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
• Stay Up-to-Date:
• Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices.
• Continuously learn and adapt to changes in the social media landscape.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of driving engagement and results.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with social media analytics tools and advertising platforms.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
