Job Summary: The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing a high-performing, agile workforce. You will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee lifecycle, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
• * Talent Acquisition & Onboarding/Offboarding:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, making Job description, posting on websites and hiring through LinkedIn, Naukri etc
• Develop and execute effective onboarding programs including Employee Handbook to integrate new hires quickly and effectively into the company culture & system
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including induction/orientation, training, exit interviews and post exit formalities
• Employee Engagement & Retention:
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives that align with the company's values and business goals
• Monitor employee satisfaction and retention metrics, implementing strategies to reduce turnover and increase job satisfaction
• Performance Management:
• Manage performance processes, ensuring clear communication of expectations and goals.
• Work with managers to create development plans and provide ongoing support to employees in achieving their objectives
• HR Policy Development & Compliance:
• Draft, implement, and regularly update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
• Conduct HR audits to ensure policies are being followed and identify areas for improvement
• Payroll & Benefits Administration:
• Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other perks, and continuously assess their effectiveness
• Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
• Act as the first point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies and resolving issues.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Strategic Advisor:
• Advise and guide management on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, compensation, and leave policies
• Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate and execute the talent strategy for the organization
• Cultural Development:
• Promote and sustain a company culture that reflects our core values of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus
• Organize and lead team-building activities and events that enhance employee engagement and morale
• HR Analytics & Reporting:
• Maintain and analyze HR metrics, providing insights to leadership on workforce trends and making data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
• Vendor Management:
• Manage relationships with HR service providers, including recruitment agencies, training consultants, and benefits providers
• Ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery from external vendors
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
• 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in a startup environment
• Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
• Experience in IT and sales environments is a plus.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, influential communication and commitment to ethical standards
