Job Description:
Eksdee is on the lookout for a dynamic and creative individual to join us as a Fashion Design Intern. As a Fashion Design Intern at Eksdee, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual identity. We are seeking someone with a keen eye for design, a passion for the latest fashion trends, and the ability to translate concepts into unique and appealing designs.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create innovative designs for our product range.
2. Stay updated on current fashion trends, pop culture, and design innovations to infuse freshness into our collections.
3. Assist in the development of mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts.
4. Work closely with the production team to ensure the feasibility of designs for manufacturing.
5. Contribute to the overall creative process, bringing new ideas and perspectives to the table.
6. Maintain a balance between creative expression and aligning designs with Eksdee’s brand identity.
7. Research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for unique and marketable designs.
8. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the ideation process.
Requirements:
1. Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and an understanding of trends.
3. Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends, color theory, and design principles.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
